PAYMENT
OPTIONS
For more detailed information on the cost of
courses and programs, please see the Tuition
Fees section of our website.
The payment options indicated here pertain only to courses taken at Living Earth School of Herbalism. Payments for Traditional Herbalist Levels 1b and 2b courses that are taken at George Brown or other Colleges, or online through Ontario Learn must be arranged directly with the college at which the course is offered.
Living Earth School of Herbalism does not accept payments by credit
card. All payments must be made by cheque or cash. Students may pay
their tuition by one of the following options:
Payment By Course
This payment option is only available for general
interest students and students enrolled in the Holistic Herbal Studies
program.
General Interest Courses
For all general interest courses except The Spirit of Herbs, a $100 non-refundable
deposit for each course along with a completed Course Registration Form
must be received before the first class to confirm your registration.
The balance of the tuition fee for each course is due by the first class.
The Spirit of Herbs
For The Spirit of Herbs, a $150 non-refundable deposit along with a
completed Course Registration Form and a post-dated cheque for the balance
of the tuition fee for this course (dated no later than May 31) must
be received by May 31, 2009. Students who register for this course after
May 31 must send a cheque for the full tuition for the course along
with a completed Course Registration Form. These must be received by
June 30, 2009. Payments received after May 31 can not be post-dated.
Monthly Installments
This
payment option is only available for students enrolled in the Traditional
Herbalist program.
Traditional Herbalist, Level 1a
A completed Program Registration Form along with
a $500 non-refundable deposit must be received to confirm your registration.
The deposit can not be post-dated. The tuition is divided into 12 equal
monthly payments of $345.42. Twelve post-dated cheques for this amount
dated for the first day of each month must be received along with your
deposit and registration form. The monthly payments must be dated from
September 1, 2010, to August 1, 2011.
Payment plans for the Traditional Herbalist program always begin in
September. Nevertheless, students may begin attending courses in April
with Herbal Field Studies or in July with The Spirit of Herbs (in the years that it is scheduled) and pay
the tuition for these courses on a course-by-course basis. Registration
requirements for students who are accepted into the Traditional Herbalist
program who have attended one or both of these courses are the same
as for other students, however, any tuition that has been paid previous to enrolling in the Traditional Herbalist program will
be subtracted from the tuition fee for the Level 1a program and their
monthly payments will be calculated based on the remaining balance owing. In these
cases monthly payments will be lower than the amount quoted above.
Traditional Herbalist, Level 2a
A completed Program Registration Form must be
received before August 31, 2011 to confirm your registration. The
tuition is divided into 12 equal monthly payments of $246.13. Twelve
post-dated cheques for this amount dated for the first day of each month
must be received along with your registration form. The 12 post-dated
cheques must be dated from September 1, 2011, to August 1, 2012.
Traditional Herbalist, Level 3
A completed Program Registration Form must be
received before August 31, 2010, to confirm your registration. The
$500 deposit that is paid when students initially register in the Traditional
Herbalist program is subtracted from the total Level 3 tuition and the
balance is divided into 12 equal monthly payments of $279.79. Twelve
post-dated cheques for this amount dated for the first day of each month
must be received along with your registration form. The 12 post-dated
cheques must be dated from September 1, 2010, to August 1, 2011.
Payment In Full
The full payment option entitles students
to a discount on their tuition fees.

A completed Holistic Herbal Studies Program Registration
Form along with a cheque for the full tuition fee of $3,135.00 must
be received to confirm your registration.
For students who begin the Holistic Herbal Studies

the tuition for these courses on a course-by-course basis. Registration
requirements for students who are accepted into the Traditional Herbalist
program who have attended one or both of these courses are the same
as for other students, however, any tuition that has been paid previous to enrolling in the Traditional Herbalist program will
be subtracted from the tuition fee for the Level 1a program and their
full payment for Level 1a will consist of the remaining balance owing. In these
cases the full payment will be lower than the amount quoted above.
