TUITION FEES PLEASE NOTE: The Traditional Herbalist program is currently being revised. Some of the courses are being converted to an online distance learning format. These include general interest, Holistic Herbal Studies, and Traditional Herbalist courses, but not Herbal Field Studies field workshops or The Spirit of Herbs workshops. Once the online versions of these courses are available, it will be possible to register for them at any time as long as you have taken the appropriate prerequisites, where applicable. It is likely that the tuition fees for the online versions of these courses will change somewhat. The new fees will be posted as soon as they are available. For information on which courses are being converted to an online format, please visit the Scheduling section of our website. The tuition fees for courses and programs vary depending primarily on the length of the course or program and the payment option chosen. For more information on the payment options that are available, please see the Payment Options section of our website. Changes to the Online Courses The tuition fees for the online versions of courses will be similar to the fees for the classroom version of the course with slight changes due different costs pertaining to the changes in the way the course is being administered. However, there are sometimes sections of the original classroom courses that don’t work well in the online format for various reasons. When we convert the courses from the classroom to online format, these parts of the course are removed and added to the content that will eventually become part of the intensive workshops that will make up the advanced (post-online) part of the Traditional Herbalist program. When this occurs the classroom hour equivalents and tuition fees for the course will be adjusted accordingly. We can not be certain of the exact cost of any online course until the course is completed and running. For courses for which the online version is not yet available, we have continued to include the former cost of the classroom version of the course (see below) so that students will have a general sense of what the anticipated tuition fees will be. These fees are approximate and marked by an asterisk (*). All fees are in Canadian dollars.
