Holistic Herbal Studies Program Tuition Fees

Total fee for the program: $3,350* plus the tuition for the two college courses. For the college courses, please check with the appropriate college.

Traditional Herbalist Program Tuition Fees

Traditional Herbalist, Level 1

These fees are an estimate based on the cost of Level 1 of the in-class version of the program. They will be updated as the conversion of these courses to the online version is completed.

  • Living Earth Workshops and Online Courses

    Total tuition fee $6,900 - $7,200*
    (*) The fees for some courses are estimates based on the fees for the original in-class courses.
  • College Courses

    These courses are offered by George Brown College or from other colleges online through Ontario Learn. Students must register for each course directly with George Brown College or Ontario Learn. Students may take equivalent courses from other colleges and universities if they receive permission from the Program Director. Links to the information regarding tuition fees and registration for individual courses from George Brown College and Ontario Learn are available on the Traditional Herbalist Diploma Program page of our website. The tuition fees for individual courses vary from year to year and based on what educational institution offers the course. The approximate total tuition for all Level 1 college courses is $3,500 - $4,000 depending on the course options chosen by each individual student.
Traditional Herbalist, Level 2

Level 2 of the Traditional Herbalist program consists of a series of five seven day workshops. It is difficult to determine at this time the tuition fees for these workshops as they will depend on the location and the cost of accommodations and meals. It is likely that the tuition will be $1,300 - $1,400 per workshop.

Tuition Tax Credits

Living Earth School of Herbalism is certified by Employment and Social Development Canada. For Canadian citizens and residents, tuition fees that collectively exceed $100 for courses and/or programs providing students with sufficient skills to enable them to work in, or to improve their skills in a recognized occupation are eligible for a tuition tax credit under Sections 118.5 and 118.6 of the Income Tax Act. This tax credit does not include the cost of textbooks and materials.
